व्यंसितं वामहस्तं च सह पादेन सर्पयेत् । निकुट्टकद्वयं कार्यमाक्षिप्तं मण्डलोरसि ॥ १९१॥

करिहस्तं कटिच्छिन्नं कर्तव्यमपराजिते । कुट्टितं करणं कृत्वा भुजङ्गत्रासितं तथा ॥ १९२॥

The waist should be cut off at the level of the elephant's trunk, and the Bhujangatrāsita mudra should be performed.

लताख्यं सकटकच्छिन्नं विष्कम्भापसृते भवेत् । त्रिकं सुवलितं कृत्वा नूपुरं करणं तथा ॥ १९४॥

The Lata-like gesture, cut as if by a saw, is used in the Viskambha when released. After performing the Trika with a well-formed twist, the Nupura gesture follows.

The left hand is made to resemble a serpent's fright, and the right hand is bent like the Vaiśākha. After performing the drawn-in gesture, the cut-off gesture is then made.
