The left hand should be bent and moved along with the foot, creating a serpentine motion. The two Nikuttakas should be performed, along with the Ākṣipta in the chest.
The Lata-like gesture, cut as if by a saw, is used in the Viskambha when released. After performing the Trika with a well-formed twist, the Nupura gesture follows.
भुजङ्गत्रासितं सव्यं तथा वैशाखरेचितम् । आक्षिप्तकं ततः कृत्वा परिच्छिन्नं तथैव च ॥ १९५॥
The left hand is made to resemble a serpent's fright, and the right hand is bent like the Vaiśākha. After performing the drawn-in gesture, the cut-off gesture is then made.
