ये च वो वंशजास्तेऽपि भविष्यन्त्यथ नर्तकाः । परोपस्थानवन्तश्च शस्त्रपण्योपजीविनः ॥ ४१॥
"Those who are descendants of yours will also become dancers, and those who live by selling weapons and other merchandise."
english translation
ye ca vo vaMzajAste'pi bhaviSyantyatha nartakAH । paropasthAnavantazca zastrapaNyopajIvinaH ॥ 41॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशापं दत्तं तथा ज्ञात्वा सुतेभ्यो मे तदा सुराः । सर्वे विमनसो भूत्वा तानृषीन् समुपस्थिताः ॥ ४२॥
"Having understood the curse given to my sons, the gods, all being filled with sorrow, approached those sages."
english translation
zApaM dattaM tathA jJAtvA sutebhyo me tadA surAH । sarve vimanaso bhUtvA tAnRSIn samupasthitAH ॥ 42॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयाचमानैस्ततः प्रोक्तं देवैः शक्रपुरोगमैः । इदानीं दुःखमुत्पन्नं नाट्यमेतद् विनङ्क्षति ॥ ४३॥
"Then, the gods, led by Indra, spoke, requesting: 'This drama, which has arisen from sorrow, will no longer cause harm.'"
english translation
yAcamAnaistataH proktaM devaiH zakrapurogamaiH । idAnIM duHkhamutpannaM nATyametad vinaGkSati ॥ 43॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptऋषिभिश्च ततः प्रोक्तं न चैतद्धि विनक्ष्यति । शेषमन्यत्र यद् प्रोक्तं सर्वमेतद् भविष्यति ॥ ४४॥
"Then, the sages spoke, saying: 'This will not be destroyed. Everything that has been spoken elsewhere will indeed come to pass.'"
english translation
RSibhizca tataH proktaM na caitaddhi vinakSyati । zeSamanyatra yad proktaM sarvametad bhaviSyati ॥ 44॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएतच्छ्रुत्वा तु वचनं मुनीनामुग्रतेजसाम् । विष्ण्णास्ते ततः सर्वे श्रुत्वा मां समुपस्थिताः ॥ ४५॥
"Hearing these words of the sages, all those with intense spiritual power, with great energy, approached me after listening to them."

etacchrutvA tu vacanaM munInAmugratejasAm । viSNNAste tataH sarve zrutvA mAM samupasthitAH ॥ 45॥
