ततस्तैरसुरैः सार्धं विघ्ना मायामुपाश्रिताः । वाचश्चेष्टां स्मृतिं चैव स्तम्भयन्ति स्म नृत्यताम् ॥ ६६॥
Then, along with the demons, the obstacles resorted to illusions, obstructing speech, gestures, and memory of the performers.

Seeing such disruption, the king of gods (Indra) addressed the stage director, asking the reason for the disturbance in the performance, and then entered into meditation.

tathA vidhvaMsanaM dRSTvA sUtradhArasya devarAT । kasmAtprayogavaiSamyamityuktvA dhyAnamAvizat ॥ 67॥

Then he observed the assembly surrounded on all sides by obstacles, and the stage director, deprived of consciousness and rendered motionless by their influence.
