निहतेषु च सर्वेषुअ विघ्नेषु सह दानवैः । संप्रहृष्य ततो वाक्यमाहुः सर्वे दिवौकसः ॥७१॥
With all the obstacles and demons defeated, all the celestial beings rejoiced and then spoke these words.

अहो प्रहरणं दिव्यमिदमासादितं त्वया । जर्जरीकृतसर्वाङ्गा येनैते दानवाः कृताः ॥७२॥
Ah, what a divine weapon you have obtained, by which these demons have been rendered completely shattered!
english translation
यस्मादनेन ते विघ्नाः सासुरा जर्जरीकृताः । तस्माज्जर्जर एवेति नामतोऽयं भविष्यति ॥७३॥
Since by this (weapon) the obstacles along with the demons have been shattered, it will henceforth be known by the name "Jarjara."
english translation
शेषा ये चैव हिंसार्थमुपयास्यन्ति हिंसकाः । दृष्ट्वैव जर्जरं तेऽपि गमिष्यन्त्येवमेव तु ॥७४॥
The remaining violent ones who approach with harmful intent, upon merely seeing the Jarjara, will similarly retreat.

एवमेवास्त्विति ततः शक्रः प्रोवाच तान्सुरान् । रक्षाभूतश्च सर्वेषां भविष्यत्येष जर्जरः ॥७५॥
"Let it be so," said Shakra to the gods, "This Jarjara will act as a protector for all."
