तयॊर देवासुरसमः संनिपातॊ महान अभूत किरतॊः शरजालानि वृत्रवासवयॊर इव ।। ४-५४-२ ।।

sanskrit

'Pṛithā’s son met him with a vast network of shafts, like cloud answering cloud. Fierce and unyielding was their encounter, as if the gods themselves contended with the Dānavas, and they loosed their arrows at each other like Virāṭa and Vāsava in their wrath.' ।। 4-54-2 ।।

english translation

tayòra devAsurasamaH saMnipAtò mahAna abhUta kiratòH zarajAlAni vRtravAsavayòra iva || 4-54-2 ||
