यद्य एष राजा मत्स्यानां यदि बीभत्सुर आगतः अहम आवारयिष्यामि वेलेव मकरालयम ॥ ४-४३-२ ॥
'If the one who has come is the king of the Matsyas or Vibhatsu, then even I shall stand against him as firmly as the riverbanks withstand the swelling sea.' ॥ 4-43-2 ॥
english translation
yadya eSa rAjA matsyAnAM yadi bIbhatsura AgataH ahama AvArayiSyAmi veleva makarAlayama ॥ 4-43-2 ॥
