हन्तास्मि तरसा युद्धे तवां विक्रम्य सबान्धवम यदि सथास्यसि संग्रामे कषत्रधर्मेण सौबल ॥ २-६८-४१ ॥
'I will assuredly slay you and all your followers in battle soon enough, if you, O son of Subala, continue to stay in the light according to Kshatriya traditions.' ॥ 2-68-41 ॥

सहदेववचः शरुत्वा नकुलॊ ऽपि विशां पते दर्शनीयतमॊ नॄणाम इदं वचनम अब्रवीत ॥ २-६८-४२ ॥
'Upon hearing Sahadeva’s words, Nakula, the son of Pandu, also spoke to the chief of the Bharatas, declaring that these words were the most noteworthy among men.' ॥ 2-68-42 ॥

सुतेयं यज्ञसेनस्य दयूते ऽसमिन धृतराष्ट्रजैः यैर वाचः शराविता रूक्षाः सथितैर दुर्यॊधनप्रिये ॥ २-६८-४३ ॥
'I will certainly send to the abode of Yama all the wicked sons of Dhritarashtra who, driven by fate and their desire to please Duryodhana, have used harsh and insulting words against the daughter of Yajnasena at the gambling match.' ॥ 2-68-43 ॥

तान धार्तराष्ट्रान दुर्वृत्तान मुमूर्षून कालचॊदितान दर्शयिष्यामि भूयिष्ठम अहं वैवस्वतक्षयम ॥ २-६८-४४ ॥
'I will show those wicked sons of Dhritarashtra, who are doomed by time and driven by their own evil deeds, the most severe punishment, leading them to the abode of Yama.' ॥ 2-68-44 ॥

निदेशाद धर्मराजस्य दरौपद्याः पदवीं चरन निर्धार्तराष्ट्रां पृथिवीं कर्तास्मि नचिराद इव ॥ २-६८-४५ ॥
'Following Yudhishthira’s command and recalling the wrongs done to Draupadi, I shall soon rid the earth of the sons of Dhritarashtra.' ॥ 2-68-45 ॥
