किं नॊ विवदितेनेह किं नः कलेशेन भारत अद्यैवैतान निहन्मीह परशाधि वसुधाम इमाम ॥ २-६४-११ ॥
'But why delay with words or commands? I am ready to defeat them all right now, and you, O king, shall rule the entire earth unchallenged.' ॥ 2-64-11 ॥
english translation
kiM nò vivaditeneha kiM naH kalezena bhArata adyaivaitAna nihanmIha parazAdhi vasudhAma imAma ॥ 2-64-11 ॥

'Having spoken thus, Bhima, surrounded by his younger brothers, cast his fierce, angry glances around like a lion amidst a herd of lesser creatures.' ॥ 2-64-12 ॥

[va] itya uktvA bhImasenasa tu kaniSThaira bharAtRbhira vRtaH mRgamadhye yathA siMhò muhuH parighama aikSata ॥ 2-64-12 ॥

'Meanwhile, Arjuna, known for his virtuous deeds and gentle demeanor, began to calm his elder brother with soothing words. Despite this, the mighty-armed Bhima, renowned for his great strength, continued to burn with the intensity of his wrath.' ॥ 2-64-13 ॥

sAntvyamAnò vIjyamAnaH pArthenAkliSTa karmaNA savidyate ca mahAbAhura antardAhena vIryavAna ॥ 2-64-13 ॥

'And, O king, a fire of intense rage began to issue from Bhima's ears and other senses, accompanied by smoke, sparks, and flames.' ॥ 2-64-14 ॥

karuddhasya tasya saròtòbhyò karNAdibhyò narAdhipa sadhUmaH sasphuliGgAcriH pAvakaH samajAyata ॥ 2-64-14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभरुकुटी पुटदुष्प्रेक्ष्यम अभवत तस्य तन्मुखम युगान्तकाले संप्राप्ते कृतान्तस्येव रूपिणः ॥ २-६४-१५ ॥
'His face became fearsome to behold, with furrowed brows resembling those of Yama himself at the time of universal destruction.' ॥ 2-64-15 ॥
