किं तव अतः कृपणं भूयॊ यद अहं सत्री सती शुभा सभामध्यं विगाहे ऽदय कव नु धर्मॊ महीक्षिताम ॥ २-६२-८ ॥
'What can be more distressing to me, than that though high-born and chaste, I should yet be compelled to enter this public court? Where is that virtue for which these kings were noted?' ॥ 2-62-8 ॥
english translation
kiM tava ataH kRpaNaM bhUyò yada ahaM satrI satI zubhA sabhAmadhyaM vigAhe 'daya kava nu dharmò mahIkSitAma ॥ 2-62-8 ॥
