अनुप्रियं चेद अनुकाङ्क्षसे तवं; सर्वेषु कार्येषु हिताहितेषु सत्रियश च राजञ जद पङ्गुकांश च; पृच्छ तवं वै तादृशांश चैव मूढान ॥ २-५७-१६ ॥

'After this, O king, if thou wishest to hear words that are agreeable to thee, in respect of all acts good or bad, ask thou women and idiots and cripples or persons of that description.' ॥ 2-57-16 ॥

english translation

anupriyaM ceda anukAGkSase tavaM; sarveSu kAryeSu hitAhiteSu satriyaza ca rAjaJa jada paGgukAMza ca; pRccha tavaM vai tAdRzAMza caiva mUDhAna ॥ 2-57-16 ॥
