तदात्व कामः पाण्डूंस तवं मा दरुहॊ भरतर्षभ मॊहात्मा तप्यसे पश्चात पक्षिहा पुरुषॊ यथा ॥ २-५५-१४ ॥
'Therefore, O king, do not pursue the Pandavas out of desire for profit, as in the story of the king. For, like the person who killed the birds, you will later regret your actions when blinded by folly.' ॥ 2-55-14 ॥
