न सन्तीमे धार्तराष्ट्रा येषां तवम अनुशासिता भविष्यम अर्थम आख्यासि सदा तवं कृत्यम आत्मनः ।। २-५०-११ ।।
'Your sons and allies are doomed to destruction because you, their leader, delay what should be done now by only discussing what can be achieved in the future.' ।। 2-50-11 ।।
'O king, you possess mature wisdom, have the opportunity to heed the advice of the elderly, and your senses are under control. It is unbecoming of you to confuse those of us who are focused on pursuing our interests.' ।। 2-50-13 ।।
'Vrihaspati hath said that the usage of kings are different from those of common people. Therefore kings should always attend to their interests with vigilance.' ।। 2-50-14 ।।
कषत्रियस्य महाराज जये वृत्तिः समाहिता स वै धर्मॊ ऽसत्व अधर्मॊ वा सववृत्तौ भरतर्षभ ।। २-५०-१५ ।।
'For a Kshatriya, achieving success is the ultimate standard guiding his actions. Whether the methods used are virtuous or sinful, there is no room for hesitation in fulfilling one's duties.' ।। 2-50-15 ।।
