परप्रणेयॊ ऽगरणीर हि यश च मार्गात परमुह्यति पन्थानम अनुगच्छेयुः कथं तस्य पदानुगाः ।। २-५०-१२ ।।

sanskrit

'He often trippeth whose guide acts under the instructions of others. How then can his followers expect to come across the right path?' ।। 2-50-12 ।।

english translation

parapraNeyò 'garaNIra hi yaza ca mArgAta paramuhyati panthAnama anugaccheyuH kathaM tasya padAnugAH || 2-50-12 ||
