कच चिज जञातीन गुरून वृद्धान वणिजः शिल्पिनः शरितान अभीक्ष्णम अनुगृह्णासि धनधान्येन दुर्गतान ॥ २-५-६१ ॥
'Cherished thou always, with food and wealth, relatives, superiors, merchants, the aged, and other proteges, and the distressed?' ॥ 2-5-61 ॥

कच चिद आयव्यये युक्ताः सर्वे गणक लेखकाः अनुतिष्ठन्ति पूर्वाह्णे नित्यम आयव्ययं तव ॥ २-५-६२ ॥
'Do the accountants and clerks responsible for managing your income and expenditure always provide you with a daily update on your finances every morning?' ॥ 2-5-62 ॥

कच चिद अर्थेषु संप्रौढान हितकामान अनुप्रियान नापकर्षसि कर्मभ्यः पूर्वम अप्राप्य किल्बिषम ॥ २-५-६३ ॥
'Do you dismiss, without fault, servants skilled in their duties and well-liked, who are dedicated to your welfare?' ॥ 2-5-63 ॥

कच चिद विदित्वा पुरुषान उत्तमाधममध्यमान तवं कर्मस्व अनुरूपेषु नियॊजयसि भारत ॥ २-५-६४ ॥
'O Bharata, do you appoint individuals to suitable positions after evaluating their competence, whether they are excellent, average, or of lower ability?' ॥ 2-5-64 ॥

कच चिन न लुब्धाश चौरा वा वैरिणॊ वा विशां पते अप्राप्तव्यवहारा वा तव कर्मस्व अनुष्ठिताः ॥ २-५-६५ ॥
'Do you, O ruler of the people, ensure that your affairs are conducted by individuals who are not greedy, thieves, enemies, or those who engage in inappropriate conduct?' ॥ 2-5-65 ॥
