अमात्यान उपधातीतान पितृपैतामहाञ शुचीन शरेष्ठाञ शरेष्ठेषु कच चित तवं नियॊजयसि कर्मसु ।। २-५-३३ ।।

sanskrit

'Do you appoint ministers from respectable lineages, free from blemish, to the posts of ministers and to those of your father and grandfather? Do you appoint the most distinguished to the most important duties?' ।। 2-5-33 ।।

english translation

amAtyAna upadhAtItAna pitRpaitAmahAJa zucIna zareSThAJa zareSTheSu kaca cita tavaM niyòjayasi karmasu || 2-5-33 ||
