[द] यन मया पाण्डवानां तु दृष्टं तच छृणु भारत आहृतं भूमिपालैर हि वसु मुख्यं ततस ततः ।। २-४७-१ ।।
'Duryodhana said, "O descendant of Bharata, listen as I describe the wealth I saw belonging to the sons of Pandu. The kings of the earth brought these costly treasures one after another."' ।। 2-47-1 ।।
न विन्दे दृढम आत्मामं दृष्ट्वाहं तद अरेर धनम फलतॊ भूमितॊ वापि परतिपद्यस्व भारत ।। २-४७-२ ।।
'Upon seeing their riches, I lost my composure and felt as though I scarcely knew myself. O Bharata, listen as I describe the wealth I witnessed, which included both crafted goods and the natural produce of the land.' ।। 2-47-2 ।।
'The king of Kamboja presented countless fine animal skins, woolen blankets made from the soft fur of rodents and burrowing animals, and cat hair. All these items were intricately woven with threads of gold.' ।। 2-47-3 ।।
'He also gave three hundred horses of the Titteti and Kalmasha breeds, distinguished by their parrot-like noses. Additionally, he presented three hundred camels and an equal number of she-asses, all well-nourished with olives and Pilusha fruits.' ।। 2-47-4 ।।
गॊवासना बराह्मणाश च दासमीयाश च सर्वशः परीत्यर्थं ते महाभागा धर्मराज्ञॊ महात्मनः तरिखर्वं बलिम आदाय दवारि तिष्ठन्ति वारिताः ।। २-४७-५ ।।
'Countless Brahmanas, who reared cattle and held humble positions, came to gratify the illustrious King Yudhishthira (great Dharmaraja) the Just, waiting at the gate with a tribute of three hundred million.' ।। 2-47-5 ।।
