अधीतवान कृती शास्त्रे लालितः सततं गृहे भरातृज्येष्ठः सथितॊ राज्ये विन्दसे किं न शॊभनम ॥ २-४६-१४ ॥

sanskrit

'You are well-versed in the scriptures, diligent in your studies, and have been lovingly nurtured at home. As the eldest of the Bharatas, you hold a position of honor in the kingdom. What could be more fitting and glorious than this?' ॥ 2-46-14 ॥

english translation

adhItavAna kRtI zAstre lAlitaH satataM gRhe bharAtRjyeSThaH sathitò rAjye vindase kiM na zòbhanama ॥ 2-46-14 ॥
