एष नः शत्रुर अत्यन्तं पार्थिवाः सात्वती सुतः सात्वतानां नृशंसात्मा न हितॊ ऽनपकारिणाम ॥ २-४२-६ ॥
'O kings, this wicked-minded one, the son of a Satvata woman, is a great enemy to us of the Satvata lineage. Although we never seek to harm him, he persistently seeks our ruin.' ॥ 2-42-6 ॥
english translation
eSa naH zatrura atyantaM pArthivAH sAtvatI sutaH sAtvatAnAM nRzaMsAtmA na hitò 'napakAriNAma ॥ 2-42-6 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपराग्ज्यॊतिष पुरं यातान अस्माञ जञात्वा नृशंसकृत अदहद दवारकाम एष सवस्रीयः सन नराधिपाः ॥ २-४२-७ ॥
'This wretch of cruel deeds, O kings, upon hearing that we had gone to the city of Pragjyotisha, came and burned Dwaraka, despite being the son of my father's sister.' ॥ 2-42-7 ॥

parAgjyòtiSa puraM yAtAna asmAJa jaJAtvA nRzaMsakRta adahada davArakAma eSa savasrIyaH sana narAdhipAH ॥ 2-42-7 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकरीडतॊ भॊजराजन्यान एष रैवतके गिरौ हत्वा बद्ध्वा च तान सर्वान उपायात सवपुरं पुरा ॥ २-४२-८ ॥
'While King Bhoja was sporting on Mount Raivataka, this wretch attacked the king's attendants, killing many and taking the rest in chains to his city.' ॥ 2-42-8 ॥

karIDatò bhòjarAjanyAna eSa raivatake girau hatvA baddhvA ca tAna sarvAna upAyAta savapuraM purA ॥ 2-42-8 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअश्वमेधे हयं मेध्यम उत्सृष्टं रक्षिभिर वृतम पितुर मे यज्ञविघ्नार्थम अहरत पापनिश्चयः ॥ २-४२-९ ॥
'Sinful in all his actions, this wretch stole the sacrificial horse of my father's Ashwamedha, which had been released under the guard of armed men, in order to obstruct the sacrifice.' ॥ 2-42-9 ॥

azvamedhe hayaM medhyama utsRSTaM rakSibhira vRtama pitura me yajJavighnArthama aharata pApanizcayaH ॥ 2-42-9 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुवीरान परतिपत्तौ च बभ्रॊर एष यशस्विनः भार्याम अभ्यहरन मॊहाद अकामां ताम इतॊ गताम ॥ २-४२-१० ॥
'Driven by sinful motives, this wretch abducted the unwilling wife of the innocent Vabhru (Akrura) as she traveled from Dwaraka to the land of the Sauviras.' ॥ 2-42-10 ॥

suvIrAna paratipattau ca babhròra eSa yazasvinaH bhAryAma abhyaharana mòhAda akAmAM tAma itò gatAma ॥ 2-42-10 ॥
