वृष्णीनां चैव दुर्धर्षाः कुमारा देवरूपिणः आहुकॊ वि पृथुश चैव गदः सारण एव च ॥ २-४-२६ ॥
'Among the Vrishnis were the formidable Kumara brothers, who resembled gods in their form, Ahuka, Viprithu, Gadha, and Sāraṇa.' ॥ 2-4-26 ॥
english translation
अक्रूरः कृतवर्मा च सात्यकिश च शिनेः सुतः भीष्मकॊ ऽथाहृतिश चैव दयुमत सेनश च वीर्यवान केकयाश च महेष्वासा यज्ञसेनश च सौमकिः ॥ २-४-२७ ॥
'There were also Akrura, Kritavarma, Satyaki, the son of Shinī, Bhishmaka, Ahuka, Hridika, and the valiant Sena, mighty heroes all. Kekaya's powerful sons and Yajnasena (Dhrishtadyumna) and Soumaki were also there.' ॥ 2-4-27 ॥

अर्जुनं चापि संश्रित्य राजपुत्रा महाबलाः अशिक्षन्त धनुर्वेदं रौरवाजिनवाससः ॥ २-४-२८ ॥
'The mighty sons of kings, skilled in warfare, also trained Arjuna in archery, clad in armor as he was.' ॥ 2-4-28 ॥

तत्रैव शिक्षिता राजन कुमारा वृष्णिनन्दनाः रौक्मिणेयश च साम्बश च युयुधानश च सात्यकिः ॥ २-४-२९ ॥
'There, O King, the sons of Vrishni, namely, Rukmininandan (Pradyumna), Samba, Yuyudhana, and Satyaki, were also trained.' ॥ 2-4-29 ॥

एते चान्ये च बहवॊ राजानः पृथिवीपते धनंजय सखा चात्र नित्यम आस्ते सम तुम्बुरुः ॥ २-४-३० ॥
'These and many other kings, O Lord of the Earth, the constant friend of Dhananjaya (Arjuna), used to stay there, surrounded by them.' ॥ 2-4-30 ॥
