'These virtuous and erudite sages, with their senses and souls firmly controlled, were joined by many others, equally numerous, all proficient in the Vedas and Vedangas, well-versed in moral precepts, and pristine in their conduct.' ।। 2-4-16 ।।
'The eminent sages worshiped the great-souled one in the assembly, narrating sacred tales, virtuous and pure, knowledgeable in righteousness and untainted.' ।। 2-4-17 ।।
'Similarly, the noblest of Kshatriyas worshiped Dharmaraja, the illustrious, virtuous, endowed with magnanimity, and augmenter of righteousness.' ।। 2-4-18 ।।
संग्रामजिद दुर्मुखश च उग्रसेनश च वीर्यवान कक्षसेनः कषितिपतिः कषेमकश चापराजितः काम्बॊजराजः कमलः कम्पनश च महाबलः ।। २-४-१९ ।।
'Sangramajit, Durmukha, and the valiant Ugrasena; Kakshasena, the lord of the Kasis, and the invincible Kshemaka; Kamboja, Kamala, and the mighty Kampena.' ।। 2-4-19 ।।
सततं कम्पयाम आस यवनान एक एव यः यथासुरान कालकेयान देवॊ वज्रधरस तथा ।। २-४-२० ।।
'Constantly shaking the Yavanas like a single (individual) among the demons, just as the wielder of the thunderbolt among the gods does to the Asuras.' ।। 2-4-20 ।।
