न हि कश चिद इहास्माभिः सुबालॊ ऽपय अपरीक्षितः गुणैर वृद्धान अतिक्रम्य हरिर अर्च्यतमॊ मतः ।। २-३५-१६ ।।
'We have considered every individual here, even the youngest, and despite many being foremost in virtue, we have deemed Hari as most deserving of our highest reverence.' ।। 2-35-16 ।।
'Among the learned twice-born and the Kshatriyas with superior strength, Govinda (Krishna) is worshipped due to two reasons: his superior knowledge and his unmatched strength.' ।। 2-35-17 ।।
वेदवेदाङ्गविज्ञानं बलं चाप्य अमितं तथा नृणां हि लॊके कस्यास्ति विशिष्टं केशवाद ऋते ।। २-३५-१८ ।।
'Govinda (Krishna) is worthy of worship for two reasons: his profound knowledge of the Vedas and their branches, and his exceptional strength.' ।। 2-35-18 ।।
'Therefore, O kings, you should approve of the worship offered to Krishna, who is accomplished and worthy of reverence as our teacher, father, and guru.' ।। 2-35-20 ।।
