'Sisupala continued, "O bull of the Kuru race, if you consider Krishna to be the eldest, how can his son, Vasudeva, be honored in his presence? Or, if you view Vasudeva as a well-wisher and supporter, then how can Madhava be deemed worthy of such honor when Drupada is also present?"' ।। 2-34-6 ।।
अथ वा वासुदेवॊ ऽपि परियकामॊ ऽनुवृत्तवान दरुपदे तिष्ठति कथं माधवॊ ऽरहति पूजनम ।। २-३४-७ ।।
'Sisupala continued, "Or, O son of Kuru, dost thou regard Krishna as the preceptor? If so, how canst thou worship him when Drona is present here?"' ।। 2-34-7 ।।
'Sisupala continued, "Or, dost thou regard Krishna as the Ritwija? When the venerable Dwaipayana is present, how hast thou honored Krishna?"' ।। 2-34-8 ।।
ऋत्विजं मन्यसे कृष्णम अथ वा कुरुनन्दन दवैपायने सथिते विप्रे कथं कृष्णॊ ऽरचितस तवया ।। २-३४-९ ।।
'Moreover, with Bhishma, the son of Santanu, who is to depart from this world only at his own will, present here, why hast thou given such honor to Krishna, O king?' ।। 2-34-9 ।।
