'Or do you consider Krishna, the destroyer of foes, to be unworthy of worship, and thus have the kings been brought here to dishonor him, O Bharata?' ।। 2-34-11 ।।
वयं तु न भयाद अस्य कौन्तेयस्य महात्मनः परयच्छामः करान सर्वे न लॊभान न च सान्त्वनात ।। २-३४-१२ ।।
'We, however, are not acting out of fear of this high-souled Kunti's son. We all offer our respects without any avarice or for the sake of appeasement.' ।। 2-34-12 ।।
'Here also stands Karna, ever boasting of his strength among all kings and truly endowed with great might. He is the favored disciple of the Brahmana Jamadagnya and the hero who, by his own strength alone, has vanquished all monarchs in battle.' ।। 2-34-13 ।।
'How, O Bharata, hast thou, overlooking him, offered the first worship to Krishna, who is neither a sacrificial priest, nor a preceptor, nor a king?' ।। 2-34-14 ।।
अकस्माद धर्मपुत्रस्य धर्मात्मेति यशॊ गतम कॊ हि धर्मच्युते पूजाम एवं युक्तां परयॊजयेत यॊ ऽयं वृष्णिकुले जातॊ राजानं हतवान पुरा ।। २-३४-१५ ।।
'Indeed, the reputation for virtue that Yudhishthira has acquired has been earned without cause, for who would offer such undue honor to one who has strayed from righteousness? This wretch born in the Vrishni race wrongfully killed the illustrious King Jarasandha in the past.' ।। 2-34-15 ।।
