तत्र गत्वा स जग्राह गदां शङ्खं च भारत सफाटिकं च सभा दरव्यं यद आसीद वृषपर्वणः किंकरैः सह रक्षॊभिर अगृह्णात सर्वम एव तत ।। २-३-१६ ।।
'Arriving there, he seized the mace, conch shell, and crystal assembly hall that belonged to Vrishaparva. He took everything, along with his attendants and guards.' ।। 2-3-16 ।।
tatra gatvA sa jagrAha gadAM zaGkhaM ca bhArata saphATikaM ca sabhA daravyaM yada AsIda vRSaparvaNaH kiMkaraiH saha rakSòbhira agRhNAta sarvama eva tata || 2-3-16 ||
'And upon reaching there, the mighty Asura Maya seized the vast wealth protected by Yakshas and Rakshasas. Bringing it back, he fashioned an unparalleled palace, resplendent and celestial, crafted solely from gems and precious stones, renowned across the three realms.' ।। 2-3-17 ।।
गदां च भीमसेनाय परवरां परददौ तदा देवदत्तं च पार्थाय ददौ शङ्खम अनुत्तमम ।। २-३-१८ ।।
'To Bhimasena, he presented the finest club, while to Arjuna, he bestowed the peerless conch shell whose resounding echo inspired awe in all creatures.' ।। 2-3-18 ।।
सभा तु सा महाराज शातकुम्भमय दरुमा दश किष्कु सहस्राणि समन्ताद आयताभवत ।। २-३-१९ ।।
'That grand hall, O great king, was made of sandalwood, adorned with a hundred thousand pillars, extending ten kroshas in all directions.' ।। 2-3-19 ।।
