यत्र यूपा मणिमयाश चित्याश चापि हिरन मयाः शॊभार्थं विहितास तत्र न तु दृष्टान्ततः कृताः ॥ २-३-११ ॥
'There, on its shores, O best among the Bharatas, the illustrious lord of all beings, Indra, conducted a hundred great sacrifices. For the sake of adornment, not following conventional norms, sacrificial stakes crafted from jewels and altars made of gold were erected.' ॥ 2-3-11 ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptयत्रेष्ट्वा स गतः सिद्धिं सहस्राक्षः शचीपतिः यत्र भूतपतिः सृष्ट्वा सर्वलॊकान सनातनः उपास्यते तिग्मतेजा वृतॊ भूतैः सहस्रशः ॥ २-३-१२ ॥
'In that sacred place, following those sacrifices, the thousand-eyed lord of Shachi attained triumph. There, the fierce Mahadeva, the eternal ruler of all beings, having created the entire cosmos, has established his dwelling. He is revered by thousands of spirits and worshipped with profound reverence.' ॥ 2-3-12 ॥

yatreSTvA sa gataH siddhiM sahasrAkSaH zacIpatiH yatra bhUtapatiH sRSTvA sarvalòkAna sanAtanaH upAsyate tigmatejA vRtò bhUtaiH sahasrazaH ॥ 2-3-12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनरनारायणौ बरह्मा यमः सथाणुश च पञ्चमः उपासते यत्र सत्रं सहस्रयुगपर्यये ॥ २-३-१३ ॥
'There, Nara and Narayana, Brahma, Yama, and Sthanu, the fifth, perform their sacrifices once every thousand yugas.' ॥ 2-3-13 ॥

naranArAyaNau barahmA yamaH sathANuza ca paJcamaH upAsate yatra satraM sahasrayugaparyaye ॥ 2-3-13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयत्रेष्टं वासुदेवेन सर्वैर वर्षसहस्रकैः शरद्दधानेन सततं शिष्टसंप्रतिपत्तये ॥ २-३-१४ ॥
'In that sacred abode, Vasudeva, with devout dedication, conducted his sacrifices for the propagation of virtue and righteousness, spanning many enduring years.' ॥ 2-3-14 ॥

yatreSTaM vAsudevena sarvaira varSasahasrakaiH zaraddadhAnena satataM ziSTasaMpratipattaye ॥ 2-3-14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुवर्णमालिनॊ यूपाश चित्याश चाप्य अति भास्वराः ददौ यत्र सहस्राणि परयुतानि च केशवः ॥ २-३-१५ ॥
'There were placed by Keshava thousands and tens of thousands of sacrificial stakes adorned with golden garlands and altars of great splendor.' ॥ 2-3-15 ॥
