गदां च भीमसेनाय परवरां परददौ तदा देवदत्तं च पार्थाय ददौ शङ्खम अनुत्तमम ॥ २-३-१८ ॥
'To Bhimasena, he presented the finest club, while to Arjuna, he bestowed the peerless conch shell whose resounding echo inspired awe in all creatures.' ॥ 2-3-18 ॥
english translation
gadAM ca bhImasenAya paravarAM paradadau tadA devadattaM ca pArthAya dadau zaGkhama anuttamama ॥ 2-3-18 ॥
