रमठान हारहूणांश च परतीच्याश चैव ये नृपाः तान सर्वान स वशे चक्रे शासनाद एव पाण्डवः ।। २-२९-११ ।।

'And the son of Pandu, by sheer force, brought under his subjection the Ramathas, Harahunas, and several kings of the western regions.' ।। 2-29-11 ।।

english translation

ramaThAna hArahUNAMza ca paratIcyAza caiva ye nRpAH tAna sarvAna sa vaze cakre zAsanAda eva pANDavaH || 2-29-11 ||

तत्रस्थः परेषयाम आस वासुदेवाय चाभिभुः स चास्य दशभी राज्यैः परतिजग्राह शासनम ।। २-२९-१२ ।।

'While staying there, Nakula sent messengers to Vasudeva. And Vasudeva, along with all the Yadavas, accepted Nakula's sway.' ।। 2-29-12 ।।

tatrasthaH pareSayAma Asa vAsudevAya cAbhibhuH sa cAsya dazabhI rAjyaiH paratijagrAha zAsanama || 2-29-12 ||

ततः शाकलम अभ्येत्य मद्राणां पुटभेदनम मातुलं परीतिपूर्वेण शल्यं चक्रे वशे बली ।। २-२९-१३ ।।

'The mighty hero, proceeding to Sakala, the city of the Madras, brought his uncle Shalya under the sway of the Pandavas with affection. O king, the illustrious prince, deserving of his uncle's hospitality and entertainment, was received with great honor.' ।। 2-29-13 ।।

tataH zAkalama abhyetya madrANAM puTabhedanama mAtulaM parItipUrveNa zalyaM cakre vaze balI || 2-29-13 ||

स तस्मिन सत्कृतॊ राज्ञा सत्कारार्हॊ विशां पते रत्नानि भूरीण्य आदाय संप्रतस्थे युधां पतिः ।। २-२९-१४ ।।

'Skilled in warfare, the prince took a substantial quantity of jewels and gems from Shalya and then departed from his uncle's kingdom.' ।। 2-29-14 ।।

ततः सागरकुक्षिस्थान मलेच्छान परमदारुणान पह्लवान बर्बरांश चैव तान सर्वान अनयद वशम ।। २-२९-१५ ।।

'And the son of Pandu then subdued the fierce Mlechchas living on the sea coast, along with the wild tribes of the Pahlavas, Kiratas, Yavanas, and Sakas.' ।। 2-29-15 ।।
