तम आस्थाय रथं दिव्यं पर्जन्यसमनिस्वनम निर्ययौ पुरुषव्याघ्रः पाण्डवाभ्यां सहाच्युतः ॥ २-२२-२६ ॥
'Mounting that divine chariot, thundering like a rain cloud, The tiger among men, along with the two Pandavas and Achyuta, set forth.' ॥ 2-22-26 ॥
english translation
tama AsthAya rathaM divyaM parjanyasamanisvanama niryayau puruSavyAghraH pANDavAbhyAM sahAcyutaH ॥ 2-22-26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयं लेभे वासवाद राजा वसुस तस्माद बृहद्रथः बृहद्रथात करमेणैव पराप्तॊ बार्हद्रथं नृपम ॥ २-२२-२७ ॥
'The chariot Krishna rode had originally been acquired by King Vasu from Indra (Vasava), passed to Vrihadratha from Vasu, and eventually came into the possession of King Jarasandha.' ॥ 2-22-27 ॥
english translation
yaM lebhe vAsavAda rAjA vasusa tasmAda bRhadrathaH bRhadrathAta karameNaiva parAptò bArhadrathaM nRpama ॥ 2-22-27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस निर्ययौ महाबाहुः पुण्डरीकेक्षणस ततः गिरिव्रजाद बहिस तस्थौ समे देशे महायशाः ॥ २-२२-२८ ॥
'And he of long arms and eyes like lotus-petals and possessed of illustrious reputation, coming out of Girivraja, stopped (for some time) on a level plain outside the town.' ॥ 2-22-28 ॥
english translation
sa niryayau mahAbAhuH puNDarIkekSaNasa tataH girivrajAda bahisa tasthau same deze mahAyazAH ॥ 2-22-28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत्रैनं नागराः सर्वे सत्कारेणाभ्ययुस तदा बराह्मण परमुखा राजन विधिदृष्टेण कर्मणा ॥ २-२२-२९ ॥
'There, all the city dwellers approached him then with honor, Led by the Brahmins, O King, with actions prescribed by the scriptures.' ॥ 2-22-29 ॥

tatrainaM nAgarAH sarve satkAreNAbhyayusa tadA barAhmaNa paramukhA rAjana vidhidRSTeNa karmaNA ॥ 2-22-29 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptबन्धनाद विप्रमुक्ताश च राजानॊ मधुसूदनम पूजयाम आसुर ऊचुश च सान्त्वपूर्वम इदं वचः ॥ २-२२-३० ॥
'And the kings, freed from bondage, honored Madhusudana, And spoke these words, preceded by consolation:' ॥ 2-22-30 ॥

bandhanAda vipramuktAza ca rAjAnò madhusUdanama pUjayAma Asura Ucuza ca sAntvapUrvama idaM vacaH ॥ 2-22-30 ॥
