स निर्ययौ महाबाहुः पुण्डरीकेक्षणस ततः गिरिव्रजाद बहिस तस्थौ समे देशे महायशाः ॥ २-२२-२८ ॥
'And he of long arms and eyes like lotus-petals and possessed of illustrious reputation, coming out of Girivraja, stopped (for some time) on a level plain outside the town.' ॥ 2-22-28 ॥
english translation
sa niryayau mahAbAhuH puNDarIkekSaNasa tataH girivrajAda bahisa tasthau same deze mahAyazAH ॥ 2-22-28 ॥
