नार्हामि विषये राज्ञॊ वसन्ती पुत्रगृद्धिनः बालं पुत्रम उपादातुं मेघलेखेव भास्करम ॥ २-१६-४६ ॥
'I dwell within the dominion of a king who fervently desires an heir. Therefore, it is not appropriate for me to harm the infant child of such an illustrious and virtuous monarch.' ॥ 2-16-46 ॥
english translation
nArhAmi viSaye rAjJò vasantI putragRddhinaH bAlaM putrama upAdAtuM meghalekheva bhAskarama ॥ 2-16-46 ॥
