'Yudhishthira said, "The emperor, desiring virtue, while being devoted to his interests, How could I send Bhima [against you] by force, out of mere recklessness?"' ।। 2-15-1 ।।
'O Krishna, can I send both Bhima and Arjuna to confront Jarasandha? Bhima and Arjuna are like my eyes, and you, O Janardana, are my mind. How can I live without my eyes and mind?' ।। 2-15-2 ।।
'Even Yama himself cannot defeat in battle the formidable army of Jarasandha, which is endowed with tremendous valor. What valor can you exhibit against it?' ।। 2-15-3 ।।
'Listen, O Krishna, to my thoughts on this matter. O Janardana, abstaining from this action appears beneficial to me. My heart is troubled today. The Rajasuya sacrifice seems to me difficult to achieve.' ।। 2-15-5 ।।
