'Knowing that the wise never face adversity because they always act after thorough consideration, Yudhishthira decided that the sacrifice should not commence based solely on his own resolution.' ॥ 2-12-24 ॥

na hi yajJasamArambhaH kevalAtma vipattaye bhavatIti samAjJAya yatnataH kAryama udvahana ॥ 2-12-24 ॥

'Bearing the weight of his responsibilities carefully, he considered Krishna, the persecutor of all sinners, as the most suitable person to decide the matter.' ॥ 2-12-25 ॥
