'The king, possessing great wisdom and a disciplined mind, driven by the desire to benefit the world, reconsidered the issue, contemplating his own capabilities, resources, the current circumstances, and his financial situation.' ।। 2-12-23 ।।

'Knowing that the wise never face adversity because they always act after thorough consideration, Yudhishthira decided that the sacrifice should not commence based solely on his own resolution.' ।। 2-12-24 ।।

na hi yajJasamArambhaH kevalAtma vipattaye bhavatIti samAjJAya yatnataH kAryama udvahana || 2-12-24 ||
