अप्रमेयं महाबाहुं कामाज जातम अजं नृषु पाण्डवस तर्कयाम आस कर्मभिर देव संमितैः ॥ २-१२-२६ ॥
'Yudhishthira recognized Krishna as the foremost among all individuals, possessing immeasurable energy, strong arms, and being without birth yet born among men through his sheer will.' ॥ 2-12-26 ॥
english translation
नास्य किं चिद अविज्ञातं नास्य किं चिद अकर्मजम न स किं चिन न विषहेद इति कृष्णम अमन्यत ॥ २-१२-२७ ॥
'Reflecting on Krishna's divine prowess, the son of Pandu concluded that nothing was beyond his knowledge, ability, or endurance.' ॥ 2-12-27 ॥
english translation
स तु तां नैष्ठिकीं बुद्धिं कृत्वा पार्थॊ युधिष्ठिरः गुरुवद भूतगुरवे पराहिणॊद दूतम अञ्जसा ॥ २-१२-२८ ॥
'Yudhishthira, having reached this firm resolve, promptly sent a messenger to Krishna, conveying respectful blessings and messages akin to those an elder sends to a younger.' ॥ 2-12-28 ॥

शीघ्रगेन रथेनाशु स दूतः पराप्य यादवान दवारकावासिनं कृष्णं दवारवत्यां समासदत ॥ २-१२-२९ ॥
'The messenger swiftly arrived among the Yadavas, approaching Krishna who was residing in Dwaraka.' ॥ 2-12-29 ॥

दर्शनाकाङ्क्षिणं पार्थं दर्शनाकांक्षयाच्युतः इन्द्रसेनेन सहित इन्द्रप्रस्थं ययौ तदा ॥ २-१२-३० ॥
'Upon hearing that the son of Pritha (Arjuna) desired to see him, Achyuta (Krishna) also desired to see his cousin. Swiftly traversing many regions with his own swift horses, Krishna arrived at Indraprastha, accompanied by Indrasena.' ॥ 2-12-30 ॥
