वर्तमानं निष्पीडितार्थमुत्सृजन्ती पूर्वसंसृष्टेन सह सन्दध्यात् ॥ १ ॥
In order to free herself of the man with whom she is living at present and get rid of him painlessly, just as she removes the lacquer that adorns her feet, according to the principle that "one drives out the other," she reestablishes relations with someone who desires her, but with whom she had broken off because he was ruined.

विशीर्णप्रतिसन्धान : जिसका सारा धन निचोड़ (चूस लिया हो, ऐसे नायक को छोड़ती हुई वेश्या पूर्व नायक से सन्धि कर ले ॥ १ ॥

स चेदवसितार्थो वित्तवान् सानुरागश्च ततः सन्धेयः ॥ २ ॥
If a lover she has left has made money, lives well, and still loves her, she reestablishes their former intimacy.

मिलने का कारण यदि वह धनवान् हो, और धन देगा यह भी निश्चित हो तथा अनुराग भी रखता हो तभी मिलना चाहिये, अन्यथा नहीं ॥ २ ॥
