नरः कलासु कुशलो वाचालश्चाटुकारकः । असंस्तुतोऽपि नारीणां चित्तमाश्वेव विन्दति ॥ २१ ॥
A man who is expert in the arts, even though suffering a certain contempt, has success with women, if he is a good talker.
english translation
पुरुषो को कलाज्ञान का लाभ उक्त कलाओं में निपुण वाचाल एवं चाटुकार पुरुष प्रशंसनीय (असाधारण) न होते हुए भी स्त्रियों के चित्त को शीघ्र ही आकृष्ट कर लेता है॥ २१ ॥

कलानां ग्रहणादेव सौभाग्यमुपजायते । देशकालौ त्वपेक्ष्यासां प्रयोगः सम्भवेन्न वा ॥ २२ ॥
Fortunes can be acquired by practicing the arts, but they can only be practiced when the conditions of the country and the period are favorable.

कलाओं का ज्ञान प्राप्त करने से ही पुरुष का सौभाग्य जाग उठता है। यदि देश काल को विचार कर इनका प्रयोग किया जाये तो वह कभी निष्फल नहीं होता ॥ २२ ॥
