परस्परस्य कार्याणि ज्ञात्वा चान्तःपुरालयाः । एककार्यांस्ततः कुर्युः शेषाणामपि वेदनम् ॥ दूषयित्वा ततोऽन्योन्यमेककार्यार्पणे स्थिरः । अभेद्यतां गतः सद्यो यथेष्टं फलमश्नुते ॥ २८ ॥
The women living in the harem know each other's actions. If one of them acts on her own, if she gives herself to a special adventure, she separates from the others and risks being denounced. Hostility ceases when the others share in the desired result.
english translation
अन्तःपुर की स्त्रियाँ परस्पर एक दूसरे के रहस्य को समझकर सङ्गठित हो जायें, और एक लक्ष्य बनाकर शेष स्त्रियों को भी अपनी ओर तोड़ लें। एक दूसरे को दूषित कर जब सबके ही चरित्र एक से हो जायें, तो कोई किसी का रहस्योद्घाटन नहीं करती और सभी अभीष्ट फल प्राप्त करती है॥ २८ ॥
