स तु देवताभिगमने यात्रायामुद्यानक्रीडायां जलावतरणे विवाहे यज्ञव्यसनो- त्सवेष्वग्न्युत्पाते चौरविभ्रमे जनपदस्य चक्रारोहणे प्रेक्षाव्यापारेषु तेषु तेषु च कार्येष्विति बाभ्रवीयाः ॥ ४२ ॥
According to the Babhravyas, the meetings are arranged by going to a temple or on a pilgrimage, for a walk, or in the gardens, going to look for water, during weddings, ritual ceremonies, walks, bathing, funerals, carriage drives in the country, and other opportunities for meeting.

मिलन का अवसर - वह समागम तो देवपूजा या देवयात्रा को जाते समय, वनविहार के समय, जलविहार के समय, विवाह में सम्मिलित होते समय, आग लग जाने आदि उपद्रवों के समय, चोरों को पकड़ने के कोलाहल में, राजा के परिवर्तन के समय, खेल-तमाशों के समय और ऐसे ही अन्यान्य कार्यों के समय होता है—यह आचार्य बाधव्य के अनुयायियों का मत है ॥ ४२ ॥

दूतीभेद - सामान्य रूप से दूतीकर्म बताकर अब दूतियों के भेद बताते हैं – निसृष्टार्थी, परिमितार्था, पत्रहारी, स्वयंदूती, मूढदूती, भार्यादूती, मूकदूती और वातदूतीये दूतियों के भेद हैं ।॥ ४५ ॥
