होराशास्त्रसमुद्रं प्रमथ्य धीमन्दराद्रिणा सम्यक्। लोकस्यालोककरः शास्त्रशशाङ्कः समुत्क्षिप्तः॥२१॥

Having churned well the ocean of Astrology with the intellect as the Churning Stick (Mandara inountain), the Moon in the form of this scientific treatise has been well taken out for lighting (enlightening) the entire world.

english translation

horAzAstrasamudraM pramathya dhImandarAdriNA samyak। lokasyAlokakaraH zAstrazazAGkaH samutkSiptaH॥21॥
