दीर्घास्यः सुमुखी विपक्षबहुलः श्यामेक्षणः शास्त्रविद् दान्तः क्षीणधनो व्ययव्यतिकरः पौत्रीसुतद्वेषणः। विद्वद्भिः प्रतिपूजितः स्ववशगो मानी गुणी वर्यिवा- नत्यायुः कृपणो नदारतनयः स्याद्धन्विजातो नरः॥९॥
The person at whose birth the Moon occupies sign Dhanus will have a long and expanded lovely face; he will have many enemies; his eyes will be of a dark and blue colour; he will have read all the scriptures, will be self-controlled, with all his money spent away, coupled with losses, he will have grand-sons but hate his own sons. He will command the respect of the learned and will be independent, honourable, possessed of merits and will be endowed with great strength. He will be long-lived, be a miser and without wife and childrens.
