(अथ सुशुभाशुभकर्तरीयोगास्तत्फलानि च) लग्नात् द्वितीयसंस्थैरर्केन्दुविवर्जितैः सुशुभः। अशुभाख्यो व्ययसंस्थैरुभयस्यैः कर्तरी समाख्याता॥१३॥
When (3 or more) planets other than the Sun and the Moon occupy the 2nd house from the Lagna, the Yoga is called सुशुभ (Susubha). When such planets occupy the 12th house, the Yoga is termed अशुभ. If they should occupy both the the 2nd and 12th, it is termed कर्तरी.
