(अथ चान्द्रयोगाः) अथ तत्रादौ सुनफानफादुरुधुराधियोगास्तत्फलानि च। चन्द्राद्धनगैः सुनफा व्ययगैरनफा तयोर्दुरुधुरा स्यात्। रविरहितैरधियोगः सौम्यैर्जामित्ररन्ध्ररिपुसंस्थैः॥१॥
If the 2nd, the 12th and both the houses from the Moon be occupied by planets other than the Sun, the Yogas are termed सुनफा (Sunapha), अनफा (Anapha) and दुरुधुरा (Durudhura) respectively. When benefics occupy the 6th, the 7th and the 8th house (from the Moon or the Lagna), there results what is called the अधियोग (Adhiyoga).

स्वार्जितधनोपभोक्ता धीमान् नृपसंमतो नृपो वाऽपि। शास्त्रार्थवित्प्रवक्ता धर्मपरः ख्यातिमांश्च सुनफयाम्॥२॥
The person born in the Sunapha Yoga will possess self-acquired property, will be renowned for his wisdom and will be a king or his equal. He will have studied the Sastras and will be capable of interpreting them cleverly. He will be upright, and of great renown.

नयविनयज्ञो धृतिमाननेकशास्त्रश्रमो महाविभवः। अनफायामुत्पन्नः स्त्रीणां वशगोऽतिमानी स्यात्॥३॥
The person born in the अनफा ( Anapha) Yoga will be energetic, will have studied hard the sacred arts and possess great wealth; he will be loved by women and be very proud.

भोगधनैश्वर्ययुतो वाग्मी रणवल्लभो गणाधिपतिः। व्यग्रो नृपतिस्त्यागी पशुमान् जातो दुरुधुरायाम्॥४॥
Taking freely to the joys of life and blessed with abundance of wealth, the person born in the दुरुधुरा (Durudhura) Yoga will be eloquent, fond of war and chief of a body of men. He will even be a king. He will have a perplexed mind He will possess cattle and will be liberal.

अधियोगे भवति नरो मन्त्री पूतनापतिश्च भूपालः। धनवान् बहुप्रतापी दीर्घायुर्ज्ञानवान् गतारिगणः॥५॥
The person born in an अधियोग (Adhiyoga) will become a minister or a commander of an army. He will be wealthy, very valorous, and long-lived. He will possess a demoness as his wife. He will have wisdom and will be bereft of enemies.
