संशोध्य पिण्डं सूर्यस्य रन्ध्रमानेन वर्धयेत्। हृतात् द्वादशभिः शेषं मेषादिगणयेत्पुनः॥३६॥
The शोध्यपिण्ड figures in the Ashtakavarga of the Sun should be multiplied by the number of benefic dots in the 8th house and divided by 12. In the month signified by the remainder when counted from Mesha -

तस्मिन्मासे मृतिं विद्यात्तत्त्रिकोणर्क्षकेऽपि वा। चन्द्राष्टवर्गं निक्षिप्य शून्यफलगते विधौ॥३७॥
- or in its triangular Rasi, one's demise may be expected. When the Moon transits a Rasi void of benefic dots in the Ashtakavarga of the Moon -

तन्नक्षत्रं परित्यज्य शुभकार्याणि कारयेत्। चन्द्राष्टमे च नक्षत्रत्रितये च विशेषतः॥३८॥
- one should shun that asterism for celebrating all auspicious events. Note the asterism that is in the 8th house from that of the Moon.

आयासव्याधिदुःखानि लभते नात्र संशयः। चन्द्रात् सुखफलैः पिण्डं वर्धयेद्भैर्विभाजयेत्॥३९॥
When the Moon in her transit arrives in that asterism or its triangular ones, one will invariably get worry, disease and misery. Multiply the शोध्यपिण्ड figures by the number indicating the benefic dots in the 4th house from the Moon aud divide the product by 12.

शेषमृर्क्षं शनौ याते मातृहानिं विनिर्दिशेत्। तत्त्रिकोणेषु वा केचिदाहुछिद्रदशासु च॥ ४०॥
When Saturn transits the star indicated by the remainder, the demise of the mother should be expected. The same event, may also be declared to happen when the transit takes place over an asterism triangular to the same or if there be a छिद्र Dasa at the time.
