क्षेत्रोच्चसंस्थिता यस्य ये ग्रहाः केन्द्रलाभगाः। कारकाख्यग्रहा ज्ञेयाः खमध्यस्थो विशेषतः॥११॥
Planets occupying their own signs, their exaltation signs, if they should also be in a Kendra or the 11th house with respect to any planet, they become Karakas of the planet. That planet which occupies the 10th house of the said planet becomes a special agent.

kSetroccasaMsthitA yasya ye grahAH kendralAbhagAH। kArakAkhyagrahA jJeyAH khamadhyastho vizeSataH॥11॥
