चापान्त्यो मकरादिर्वृषमेषमृगेश्वराश्चतुश्चरणाः। घटमिथुन तुला कन्याश्चापस्यार्धं मनुष्यसंज्ञाः स्युः॥११॥
The latter half of Dhanus, the first half of Makara, Mesha, Vrishabha and Simha are called quadruped signs; and Kumbha, Mithuna, Tula, Kanya and the first half of Dhanus, are styled human (biped) signs.
