Gherand Samhita
अथाऽश्विनीमुद्रायाः फलकथनम् । अश्विनी परमा मुद्रा गुह्यरोगविनाशिनी । बलपुष्टिकरी चैव अकालमरणं हरेत् ॥३-८३॥
This special mudra destroys all hidden diseases and strengthens and develops (nourishes) the body. Apart from this, by practicing this the seeker never dies untimely death (at a young age).
english translation
यह विशिष्ट मुद्रा सभी गुप्त रोगों को नष्ट करती है और शरीर को बलवान व विकसित ( पोषण करने वाली ) करने वाली होती है । इसके अलावा इसका अभ्यास करने से साधक कभी भी अकाल मृत्यु ( कम उम्र में ) नहीं मरता है ।
