मुक्तापङ्क्तिप्रभाजुष्टदन्तपङ्क्तिमनोहराम । सुचारुवक्त्रनयनां सकटाक्षमनोरमाम् ॥ ६॥
I meditate on Ganga, who captivates the mind with her lovely teeth that shine like a string of pearls, her beautiful face and sarcastic eyes.

मोतियों की लड़ी के समान कान्तिवाले मनोहर दान्तों की पंक्तियों से मन को हर लेने वाली, सुन्दर मुख एवं कटाक्षमय नेत्रों वाली गंगा का ध्यान करता हूँ ।

स्थलपद्माभाप्रजुष्टपादपद्मयुगन्धराम् । रत्नाभरणसंयुक्तं कुकुमाक्तं सयावकम् ॥ ७॥
Both His feet are as enchanting as the radiance of the lotus flower (rose); they are adorned with beautiful jeweled ornaments; they are decorated with the essences of kumkum and yavak.

उनके दोनों चरण-कमल स्थल-पद्म (गुलाब) की कान्ति के समान मनोहारी हैं; सुन्दर रत्नों के आभरण से अलंकृत हैं; कुमकुम एवं यावक के रसों से सुशोभित हैं ।

देवेन्द्रमौलिमन्दारमकरन्दकणारुणम् । सुरसिद्धमुनीन्द्रादिदत्तार्ध्यैस्सयुतं सदा ॥ ८॥
The nectar particles of the Mandar tree sitting on the head of the king of gods Indra are making the image of those beautiful feet red in colour.

देवराज इन्द्र के शिर पर विराजमान मन्दार के मकरन्द के कणों से उस मनोहर चरण की छवि अरुण वर्ण की हो रही हैं ।

तपस्विमौलिनिकरभ्रमरश्रेणिसंयुतम् । मुक्तिप्रदं मुमुक्षूणां कामिनां स्वर्गभोगदम् ॥ ९॥
Those feet are always adorned with the water offered by gods, Siddhas, sages and great sages. The rows of bees, which form the head of the ascetics, keep circling around those lotus feet. Those beautiful feet give salvation to those who are seeking salvation, and give heaven and enjoyment to those who are lustful.

सुर, सिद्ध, मुनिगण एवं महर्षियों से दिये गए अर्घ्य-जल से वे पाद सर्वदा सुशोभित होते रहते हैं । तपस्वियों के शिर समूह रूप भ्रमरों की पंक्तियाँ उस चरण कमल की चारों ओर चक्कर लगाती रहती हैं । वह मनोहर चरण मुमुक्षुओं को मुक्ति प्रदान करने वाला है, एवं कामियों को स्वर्ग तथा भोग प्रदान करने वाला है ।

वरां वरेण्यां वरदां भक्तानुग्रहकातराम् । श्री विष्णाःपददात्री च भजे विष्णुपदी सतीम् ॥ १०॥
I worship that supremely Sati Ganga, who is most worship-worthy, who bestows boons, who is always ready to shower her blessings on her devotees, who takes refuge at the feet of Shri Vishnu and who is a part of the feet of Shri Vishnu.
english translation
परम पूजनीय, वरदान प्रदान करने वाली, भक्तों के ऊपर अनुग्रह करने के लिए सर्वथा तत्पर रहने वाली श्री विष्णु के चरणों में शरण देने वाली विष्णु-पाद-सम्भूत उस परम सती गंगा की मैं भक्ति करता हूँ I
