भूमिगत जल शुद्ध है, पतिव्रता स्त्री शुद्ध है, कल्याण करने वाला राजा शुद्ध है और संतोषी ब्राह्मण शुद्ध हैI

Only a scholar is appreciated in the world. A scholar gets respect everywhere for his scholarship. Everything is achieved through knowledge, knowledge is worshiped everywhere.

संसार में विद्वान ही प्रशंसित होता है। विद्वान ही उसकी विद्वत्ता के लिए हर जगह सम्मान पाता है। विद्या से ही सबकुछ मिलता है, विद्या ही सब स्थानों में पूजित होती है।

A person blessed with youth and born in a big family is also not able to look good in the same way as Tesu flowers, though beautiful and without fragrance, are not used for worship.

english translation

रूप यौवन से संपन्न, विशाल कुल में उत्पन्न मनुष्य भी वैसे ही शोभा नहीं पाते, जैसे बिना गंध के टेसू के फूल सुन्दर होने पर भी पूजा के कार्य में नहीं लाये जाते ।
