One should touch water, reciting mantra- Agnirme na apagachhet sharirad, vayurme pranan aadadahatu, vishnurme balam aadadhatu, indro me viryam shiva mam pravishantva apa apohishthetyapah sprushet . After touching the lips and feet, one should daub water on all the orifices of the head (two nasal, one buccal, two auditory, and two ocular orifices), the seats of his soul (mentally), heart and head.
