ऐशान्यां देवलकौपसङ्गमो धान्यरत्नपशुलब्धिः । प्राक्प्रथमे वस्त्राप्तिः समागमश्चापि बन्धक्या ॥ ८७-१६ ॥

In the northeast, the confluence of the Devalakas is the source of grain, gems and cattle. In the first place the first thing to do is to get clothes and to have sex with the bondage.

If the omen be the cry of a creature in the 31st benefic quarter, there will be a meeting with a washerman and the gain of the productions of water; and if in the 32nd benefic quarter, there will be a meeting with an elephant-driver and the gain of wealth and elephants.

If the omen be the cry of a creature in the centre, there will be a meeting with kinsmen and friends and sexual union with an excellent woman: if it be the cry of a creature in the eastern spoke, there will be a meeting with a king and the gain of red silk clothes.
