स्नेहो मृदुत्वं बहुवालता वैशद्यं अल्पास्थिनिबन्धनत्वम् । शौक्ल्यं च तासां गुणसम्पदुक्ता विद्धाल्पलुप्तानि न शोभनानि ॥ ७२-०२ ॥
If the hair be glossy, much in quantity, soft, pure, white, and with a small bone at the root, the Cāmara is one of a superior kind; but if the hair be knotty, split, broken or small in quantity, the Cāmara will not conduce to prosperity.
